I am obsessed. I dream of this sandwich. I'm haunted that I can't have it daily. PARTON'S DELI! Omg, y'all. If you ever find yourself spending the day in Gatlinburg, TN, do not, I repeat, DO NOT miss this spot. What a hidden gem! While it's not a masterpiece to look at, its so delightfully retro! It's like a time capsule! This local haunt has been in operation for 44 years, owned and operated by Miss Dolly Parton's cousin! This man knows his business. My family overwhelmed him at opening, but it wasn't a problem as he served all of us personally, all while working alone. The menu isn't extensive, which is why every sammich that he crafts is perfection in sammich form. They also boast a famous hot dog! I personally tried the ham and cheese sandwich, which was steam to perfection. And naturally a classic delicatessen such as this one comes in clutch with all sorts of craft sodas and chips! My entire giant family all left happy and stuffed! Don't miss this spot. I promise you'll leave just as happy as we did!
